Metalworking Quickie Kitty: Sculpt a Scrap Metal Cat with Jacqueline

About This Class

Get a taste of welding and blacksmithing, and then go home with a completed project!

In this 3-hour workshop, students will learn how to safely operate a MIG welder, use an induction forge and/or MAPP gas, and operate an angle grinder. We will focus on three skills: making tack welds with the MIG, bending metal with heat, and polishing metal with the angle grinder. Metal will be provided along with sample cat projects for inspiration.
